Welcome to the Wichmar-Würchhausen housing project!

We are a diverse group of people who believe in living together and sharing resources, space, and free time instead of being alone. In the village of Würchhausen, we have 20 adults and 14 children living in several shared apartments around a large meadow. Each apartment is independent and has its own way of life. All rooms are rented. As a community, we meet once a week to talk about important things, create shared spaces, or discuss different topics.

We are looking for cheerful and committed people who would like to live together with a family and are motivated to develop the alternative living together with us. There is no place for racist, sexist, nationalistic, anti-Semitic or other inhuman attitudes.

Currently, many families live with us. It is important for us to maintain a balance between these families and people in different life stages. After a lot of discussion, we have decided that, for now, no more parents with children can move in with us. During a meeting, we are happy to answer any questions about this.
